If you've
found this page, then you are a definite Treasure Seeker. I've
deliberately hidden this page so there is a benefit for those of you
who are interested enough to search all the way to the
end.
This is the
"What's New " Page. If you bookmark this page, you should be able to
go from here to the new stuff on the site. Let's keep this
page our little secret and see how long it takes for word of it's
existence to trickle out.
April 20-22
I
spent the weekend working on photos of the new 21st Century 1/32nd scale WWII vehicles and
figures.
April 19, 2001
I
uploaded some "Before the Last
Ice Age" pics to the Imangin-action-Days of Yore Galleries
Section.
April 18, 2001
I
finished uploading pictures of Conte's "The Patriot" Metal Figures. You can
find them in the Galleries by
Producer Section.
April 9, 2001
I added
pictures of the new Classic Toy Soldiers prototypes to the Homepage. I also posted a picture of
their soon to be released Panther tank on The Portals page. If you haven't
seen the Alamo page that is entered from the Alamo picture on the Homepage, you owe it to yourself to check it
out.

Next up
should be some Imagin-action Civil War Pics.
March 23rd
I
spent most of today working on some stuff for the Features
Section. I've also done some preliminary work on the
development of the Vintage Reference Section. I had trouble
getting the changes uploaded so not much got done. I did make
a couple of pretty cool logos/buttons...the one for "The Playset
Addict" (see above) and one for "Civil War Conversions" under
Creativity. Look out! I'm learning to work with layers
and transparencies!
March 24th
Today I spent all day making "Joe's Page". I can't believe I
worked on that for four straight hours! If you like my
writing, check it out. If you just like the pics...skip
it. Congratulations, Alan, for being the first one to
find this page. I also learned that alot of the pictures aren't
showing on Netscape. Hopefully I'll get that fixed...once I
figure out how to do that!
I've also
updated the homepage and put some stuff
on the Site Info page. (Can
you tell where the figure waving his hat came from?)
Finally, I
hooked up the link under Imagin-action Galleries to the American Civil War Page and then
put together Page 1 of probably 3 pages of pictures of a large Heritage Civil War
set up with lots of extras.

Today I
tried to fix the problem with Netscape viewers. I got about
half the job done. I never realized how different a site could
look when you used different browsers. The site looks the
way I designed it on Explorer. It looks like a hurried
hodgpodge on Netscape. I also put up a second page of pictures
of the Heritage ACW set
up. I also got the Britains stage diorama page
up. Streamlining the Homepage is the next project.
March
26th
Today I
worked on learning new skills. I made some more graphic
buttons...the one on the Homepage and the one for "Medieval
Times" on the Imaginaction "Days of
Yore" page. I also learned how to build an image
map. If you go to the picture at the top of "" page of Conte's
Longest Day Bunker system you can click at different parts of the
picture and see close ups or bigger versions or who knows what
else. Will you be the first to tell me which three Marx
Americans are hidden somewhere in there. Happy
Clicking.
(Cancel all
that about the Longest Day Bunker System. If i leave it in
place, I can't upload from the software I'm using. Bummer...I
was counting on that capability. I will find a
way...)
March
27
Today was
more work on graphics. I redid the title piece for the
Imagin-action Galleries and made a cool title piece/button for
Conte's Spartacus. I also got the Spartacus page up under Galleries by Producer. I also
put another image on the Contact Us
page.
March

Today I've
been stymied by uploading problems. If you see this, then I've
gotten them at least partially solved.
March

Two pages
of black and white World War Two pictures up under imaginaction
galleries/World War Two. Which do you think are more powerful,
full color or black and white? or are they each of equal yet
different power?
March
30
I added a
gallery of pics of a large Marx
Civil War set up under Imagin-action galleries. I also
changed some buttons.
March
31
I did it!
(I think). I think I got my image map of Conte's Longest Day set 5
bunker to work. Go to Galleries by producer and click
on the Longest Day 5 button and then follow the directions. I used
the space provided by my personal ISP and just linked to it and
back, thereby keeping the file my software can't handle out of that
software's files. Where there's a will, there's a
way.
Help me
out, if you would...The above page works fine on one of my computers
but not on the other. Could you let me know if the images are
there for you? (The hidden links still work on my second
computer, but you have to click on spots within a blank white
area.) Thanks for your help.
April
2nd
I added the first which is accessed through
clicking on the picture at the top of The Portals page. Try out your playset
detecting skills. I also spent time working on getting
the page borders more how I want them.
April
3-5
This
week I had lots of trouble uploading stuff to the site.
About all I got done was a revision of the first graphic on the Homepage and some more work on getting stuff
centered on the pages. What do you think of the flaming letters effect?

So far I've
uploaded a couple of pages of Beau Geste
photos in the Galleries
by Producer Section.
