Ever since I first heard about Richard Conte and the playsets he was planning to produce, the set that has most captured my imagination is the Spartacus set.  My anticipation was so great that I couldn't wait for the plastic set to come out and I broke down and bought the complete Spartacus line in metal.  In doing so, I raised the question, "What constitutes a playset?" Is it the plastic that's important...or the power to capture the imagination?  I sure had a great time playing with and displaying these guys.
