I remember being so excited that Conte was going to do a playset of an as yet unreleased Revolutionary War movie..."The Patriot".  I thought that the July 2000 release date of the movie would be a firm deadline for the release of the Playset.  I was quite disappointed when the movie came out and the playset didn't.  (That disappointment was assuaged somewhat by the release of Conte's World War Two sets.  It was the promotion of the WWII line that bumped the Patriot back on the production list.)

The good side of all this...or perhaps the bad side...was that I ended up purchasing the painted metal figures.  They are stunningly beautiful.  I hope you enjoy the pics.   Click on the above picture to go to the main Patriot Page.
