I never thought
I'd own an Indian Warfare set. While it's not one of the truly
spectacular Marx sets, it is quite rare. It was sold for only one
year in the late 50s. It was a Ward's exclusive, which further
contributes to it's scarcity.
The set came with
two sets (30) of 54mm indians and 2 sets (20) of 54mm
pioneers. It had a 60mm covered wagon, a buckboard, a
downsized cabin, some of the rare small fence pieces, three
teepees, the desirable indian accessories, two dead
horses and some sprue accessories. The only absolutely
unique piece is the classic litho box. In great
shape like this one, the set is valued in the $1000.00 range.
