Daktari was a popular TV show about a Veterinary clinic in Africa.  The show featured the main characters of "Daktari", the vet, and his daughter,Paula.  Clarence the Cross Eyed Lion and Judy the chimp were the supporting actors. 

The Daktari playset was offered in the 1968 Sears Wishbook.  It was one of the last great playsets of the first golden Age.  Even so, it was basically a re-packaging of the old Jungle Jim set.
