The two Antietam sets of the Ken Osen Signature series from Conte Collectibles form the core of this set-up.  The little vignette of the wounded Confederate passing the colors is by Shenandoah Miniatures.

I spent my 4th of July holiday doing some figure painting.  I haven't picked up a paint brush for several years and I had forgotten how enjoyable it is.  Above are two of the figures I painted.  The third one was the Union flag sergeant in the picture of the Union pull back.  I must have bought the kits four years ago at OTSN.  I had gotten them put together and primed, but life must have intervened and they got boxed up and forgotten.  Yesterday I remembered that I had somne metal kits somewhere and I managed to find them.   These three got finished and another group of kits got assembled and primed.  I may have to take some time off from the computer and do some more of this.  I'd love to know whether you visitors to the site prefer the straight playset pictures or the painted figure diorama pictures.
