Braddock's Defeat by Barzso Playsets

You gotta love Ron Barzso and his vision for playsets.  Each year since 1993 a great new playset has been available from Ron.  Each set is well thought out, filled with new figures and accessories, and delivered on time...usually in September at OTSN.

The Braddock's Defeat Playset was an exceptional set with well sculpted figures, some great wagons and caissons, and some really nice scenic accessories.  I have used the 'Ambush Rock' formations in so many ways over the years.

The set featured a character figure of a young George Washington and a great sculpt of General Braddock pinned under his horse.

Here are some more 'Raw' images.

The set looks pretty good in black and white.

I always wanted to paint the figures from this set, but I never got around to it.  There are some great pictures of some of these guys painted up in the gallery on the Barzso Playsets website. I believe these were done by Bob Strong.  Great work, Bob!
